May I ask you something about it? Did you use smush tool to blend out everything to make it realistic? It's a pretty cool technique instead of working so hard to add cast shadows by using dodging and burning tools. I like it that way. Good work, dude!

Thanks. I never actually use the dodge and burn tools as the tones that they yieid tend to look dead - black and white-ish. For this particular pic, I pretty much used one brush for most of it. I just approached it like a regular painting, so no smudging or anything like that. Hope that helps, and sorry for the late reply.
