Tanthalas / trevorm - Thanks guys. the reason why I stayed away from any sort of background for this one (and many of my other works), is because they are meant to serve as character designs. For that sort of illustration, you usually want to focus soely on the character. On the other had, I've working on quite a bit of background drawings/paintings lately. I'll post some background speed paints soon.

lolita - Thanks for that. I stopped using my GFX a few years back, after only using it for about a month or two. But I had lately decided that I should come back again. Glad that I did. Great community here

Ah, another great piece! It is amazing to see how well you use Hyung's style for your own designs. Maybe a darker shade of gray, like used on the clothes, would look good on the far away hand? I think it is a little too bright.

Anyway, the design is great! I am especially impressed by the neat details of the ornament (weapon?) hanging from his wrist. Great work!
