Nice use of color as a complement to the black clothing and surrounding area. Details you've added into the dark object she sits upon has shine that fits with what you would expect from an object such as this one. Boots and glowing rings are quite eye catching, work well with direction you seem to have been reaching to atain.

mysticcat - Thanks. I was simply goign for a character design, hence the lack of baclground. I was also trying something new out. Usually when I did a character design, I'd slap it straight over a white backing. For this one, I tried out some noise in order to give it some depth. For some odd reason, I always seem to get myself stuck, just designing characters. I've been really working towards doing more background work lately. No more avoiding

Oh, that's cool!

The design reminds me of Hyung-Tae Kim's works, maybe except for the baggy trousers. Very nice! The paint strokes around her has a little too much of the smudge-smear look to me, but the rest si great.
